Merry christmas and a happy new year! - 2011-12-24
The snow is falling and christmas is arriving. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our current closed beta testers for all their efforts. It was a great year and we had a nice start. Thanks for your support!
Once we are moving to open beta you can be sure that you will be remembered as a tester in a special way :)
In the coming days I will also post the full details on our upcoming "Colonization Expansion" which is scheduled to arrive in Q1 2012. This will be a huge step forward to give the game a lot more depth. Together with this update I also plan to include a tutorial so we can finally move over to open beta.

With that being said, I wish you all a merry christmas and a happy new year. Hope to see you in 2012!
Closed beta launched! - 2011-11-12
Beta launched on time. It looks like we have a great future ahead of us. The game is running smoothly and we didn't experience any server crash as of yet. We will do our best to update the tutorial page as well as finally translating the manual into english. It's really important to us that new players get into the game easier. There are also many ideas and suggestions we want to implement soon. So thanks everyone for joining us today and I hope we can build a strong and friendly community to support the future of this project.
Galaxy Online - The Tournament - Client now available! - 2011-11-09
As promised you can already download the client from your members download section. If you should encounter any problems during installation/update, please visit our technical support forum.
T-2 days and counting...
The forum opens its doors! - 2011-10-22
The forum is finally up and running. Everyone with a validated game account will be able to post. Simply login with your game account and initial password (the one you chose at account creation). The forum is not aware of any game account password changes. However you can always reset your forum password here.

Upcoming Beta launch! - 2011-10-18
I am going to launch the beta version of Galaxy Online® - The Tournament on 2011-11-11 at 20:00 CET! The forum will open this saturday (2011-10-22) at 20:00 CET. If you haven't already done so, sign up for your free game account now. As of yet, everyone with an account will be guaranteed access to the beta and be able to post on our forums. The client will be available shortly before launch. Thanks everyone for your support and I hope to see you on the forums.
Server move completed! - 2011-10-07
In preparation of the upcoming beta I have moved to a more powerful dedicated machine. The new server is now up and running. If you should encounter any issues, please email me at webmaster@galaxyonline.com! Beta start will be announced shortly.

The internal alpha test is also going very well so far. Its mostly about balancing now, so I am planning to invite more testers soon...

Servers are now up and running - everything seems fine so far. In the coming weeks I will invite more and more testers to the game and open up the forum. Stay tuned and thanks for your support!
Galaxy Online® - The Tournament website goes live! - 2011-07-15
It's finally done and the first incarnation of the website is finished. This will be the place of my upcoming online strategy game Galaxy Online® - The Tournament. If you have followed my blog you are already familar with the very basics of the game. Otherwise you can visit the F.A.Q. for more information.
The game is currently in alpha stage (see dev status) and I am working hard to release it to the public. Soon I will open up the forum which can be accessed with your free Galaxy Online® account. So be the first and sign up now to help support the future development of the game. As a registered member you will be able to post on our forum and secure your spot in the upcoming beta.
